No credit check is carried out on application, although we do validate your personal details against a number of independent ID verifiers.
UK residents that pass the AML checks will not have to supply any further documentation.
All Non UK residents will need to supply the following documentation within 21 days of the application being submitted failure to do so may cause your application to lapse.
Certified copy* (must include full name, Date of Birth and address if applicable) of a Signed Passport, this must be a black and white copy for UK residents.
And a copy or original of one/two of the following:
- Current year Council Tax bill or
- Recent Utility bill no older than 3 months (not mobile telephone bill) or
- Recent Mortgage statement no older than 3 months.
And a copy or original of:
- Recent Bank/Building Society Statement no older than 3 months.
*Certified means the original document has to be signed and dated by either
a) a regulated or professional person covered by money laundering regulations or
b) an official of a government department or
c) by a lawyer.
Please also attach details of the person who certified the documentation.
You can register a new debit or credit card by using the account management screen.
The quickest and easiest way to deposit funds on your GKFX account is to use a credit or debit card. Payments that are successfully authorised will be credited to your account immediately.
We accept the following payment cards:
- UK debit cards: Maestro, Visa-Delta, Solo, Electron
- Credit cards: Visa and MasterCard
Debit card
You can credit money instantly using your debit card to your account by using the Deposit section of the client portal. If you need to register a new debit card, this can also be done within the same section. There is no charge for debit card payments.
Credit card
You can credit money instantly using your Visa or MasterCard to your account by using the Deposit section of the client portal. (For legal purposes we cannot accept card payments from cardholders that are US residents) If you need to register a new debit card, this can also be done within the same section. All credit cards deposits carry a charge which can be as high 2.75% of the amount deposited.
Bank transfer
You can credit funds to your GKFX account via a same-day bank transfer to our Barclays Bank account.
Payments up to a daily limit of 10,000 can be transferred using a same-day cash transfer service such as FastPay, most of the retail banks will offer this service. If you are making payments greater than 10,000 you can use the CHAPS service also available from your bank, this also is a same-day payment service.
BACS paymentscan be used but they can take up to 4 days to credit our bank account and as such we will not credit your trading account until funds have cleared at our bank. To make any direct payment to GKFX please use the following information below. If you have any problem please contact the help desk.
You will be able to withdraw funds from the payments screen within the client portal. We will only pay funds out to the card that was used to credit the account in the first place. If a credit was made by bank transfer then the funds will be sent to the corresponding bank account.
No, under no circumstances will GKFX make or take any third party payments.
The profits and losses from the closure of any trade will be credited or debited to your account immediately. Only cleared funds will be available for withdrawal.
Yes, statements will be sent via e-mail. GKFX recommends that you have statements sent by e-mail for speed, reliability and security.
Yes, trade confirms will be e-mailed once a trade is opened or closed. Historic trading activity can also be viewed online in the account management screen.
If you spot any discrepancies on your statements or on your open positions, you will need to notify GKFX immediately so the discrepancy can be resolved quickly. GKFX maintain a comprehensive audit trail of all internet trades, telephone calls and orders placed to help resolve any issues that may arise.
To change your personal details we will require signed written, faxed or scanned notification of the changes.
